With our company still at the stage of research and development, we are facing challenges in funding this one-of-a-kind project. Many of us know the variety of mushrooms available at supermarkets, but these aren’t the only fungi beneficial for human consumption. Cordyceps, a rare genus in the parasitic fungi family, has uncountable medicinal and health benefits. These rare kinds of parasitic fungi that grow on insect larvae have been long used as herbal drugs in Chinese medicine.
Usually found at an altitude of 3500-5000, two of its species, Cordyceps sinensis and Cordyceps militaris, are found to hold a bundle of herbal benefits. Primarily, the fungus itself and Cordyceps-based supplements are found to have antitumor, antioxidant, antihyperglycemic, sexual and reproductive function enhancement, and antifatigue activity.
We at Fungi Wonders are determined to deliver innovative fungi-based products to foster the health of individuals and the environment they live in. Though we intend to manufacture all types of fungi-based supplements, food, and medicinal products, we are currently planning to launch Cordyceps supplements. Currently, we are at the initial stage of farming Cordyceps, especially two of its common species Cordyceps militaris and Cordyceps sinensis.
Despite having immeasurable benefits and business potential to grow, our products are still in the research and development stage. Although it saddens us to mention it, funding constraints that led to a sparse supply of resources have limited our growth and expansion as a capable business.
